A lively 12-acre oasis in Downtown Houston, Discovery Green sits alongside the George R. Brown Convention Center and two of the city’s largest hotels, the Marriott Marquis and Hilton Americas-Houston.

The park features expansive green lawns, shaded promenades, a one-acre lake, public art installations, and unique spaces like the John P. McGovern Playground and Gateway Fountain.

With amenities like dog runs, stages for performances and on-site dining at The Grove and The Lake House, it’s a bustling hub for recreation, relaxation and culture.

Discovery Green comes alive year-round with programming for all ages, including concerts, cultural festivals, movie nights, fitness classes and signature attractions like the ice rink in winter and a roller rink in spring.
