Pedal to work Friday

A personal favorite event of mine is the annual Bike to Work Day. This year’s renewal is this Friday, May 20.

In years past, cyclists pedaled from Memorial Park to City Hall taking a circuitous route at a leisurely pace with a police escort. This year, participants will leave at 7:30 a.m. from eight area bike shops and converge upon downtown for a rally on the steps of City Hall.
