Do you ever get stuck in the day-to-day doldrum of life and wonder "how did it get like this?" When did we get into the routine of work-home-work-home-work, and get ... BIG?
Well, Houston Downtown Alliance's business young professionals group Emerging Leaders has just the cure for you! In order to celebrate their first-ever gala, the group has taken to the Tom Hanks movie Big for inspiration.
As they're touting, "Unleash your inner child for an evening of carnival games, eats, drinks and dancing, all inspired by the movie Big! Play a little "Heart and Soul" on our floor piano, get crazy in the photo booth or try your hand at the Saint Arnold's Ring Toss (just for starters!)."
Next Saturday, November 3, from 7-11 p.m. the group will gather at the Advantage BMW Midtown Service Center (2101 San Jacinto) for an evening that's set to be jam-packed with activities, sure to make you feel like a kid again. We hear they even have some sumo suits on-hand, so partner up and get ready to duke it out!
