Where's a tow truck when you need one?

When your car has broken down and you're stranded by the side of the road a tow truck operator is a welcome sight.  Today and Saturday, tow trucks of all sizes have converged on downtown Houston for the Texas Towman Expo at the George R. Brown. Some of the gleaming tow trucks can cost upward of $600,000. The trade show features demonstrations of what tow trucks are capable with the latest technology. Several of the demonstrations feature overturned vehicles, including an 18-wheeler, in parking lot off Polk Street, next to the GRB, and are visible to the public. The expo inside the building, however, is not open to the general public.
