“Illumination” is a mural highlighting the importance of breaking the taboo around mental health (United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3.4). Even though more than half of Americans seek mental health services, there is still an unfortunate social stigma surrounding mental illness. Nearly 1 in 3 Americans worry about what others would think, while 21% of the population has lied to avoid telling friends or family, they were seeking mental health services.
