Houston celebrates the 65th anniversary of the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. This two-hour parade has historically been one of the largest in the country and includes over 100 entries to delight the Irish and Irish-at-heart. The free event, presented by the Houston St. Patrick’s Parade Commission, takes place in downtown Houston and is a family-friendly option for celebrating the holiday. A variety of community groups and local individuals will take to the streets to march along the parade route and registration is open to reserve space to walk, ride a float, or drive a truck and be personally immersed in the experience. Prices range from $50 to $175, but if you’d rather just head downtown to enjoy the parade as a spectator, then grab your green and find the perfect spot to watch along with fellow Houstonians!
