Celebrate Spring Break week at Discovery Green with plenty of fun, educational S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) activities and cultural performances. Discovery Green puts the fun back into a FUNomenal week of entertainment and education.

Community partners include Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation, Breakthrough Houston, Boy Scouts of Sam Houston, Collaborative for Children, Compudopt, Core Lab, Dale Carnegie Foundation, Houston Museum of Natural Science, Switch Energy Alliance, Writers in the Schools, Nameless Sound.

Monday, 1 – 1:30 pm

Batalá Houston Brazilian drums & dance

Monday, 1:30 – 2 pm
Capoeira Demonstrations of martial arts, dance, and acrobatics

Monday, 2 – 3 pm

Birds of Prey – a demonstration of live predator birds

Lee’s Golden Dragons – a lion dance in the Southern Chinese tradition
