POST Houston will celebrate Filipino American History Month with a full day of culture, community and connection through food, music and dance. The free event will feature a bustling marketplace of Filipino vendors, handmade goods and traditional cuisine, along with live performances ranging from tinikling and hula to Zumba, breakdancing and vocal showcases. Highlights include performances by Bay Area rapper NUMP, award-winning Filipino artist Nar Cabico and Houston-based band 6ix Elements. Guests can also enjoy DJ sets, cultural fashion displays and appearances by emcees Anthony Guevara of Sana Y’all and Rose-Ann Aragon, formerly of KPRC Channel 2. Open to the public, the celebration honors the heritage and contributions of Filipino Americans with a vibrant display of art, movement and music.
