On Jan. 23, 2026, Houston Grand Opera (HGO) will open Pulitzer Prize-winning opera Silent Night in its Houston premiere, presented in a newly revised version from composer Kevin Puts and librettist Mark Campbell. Co-produced by HGO and the Metropolitan Opera, this new staging of the 2011 opera—created by award-winning director James Robinson—will be presented in Houston before traveling to New York.
