The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art’s 38th Annual Houston Art Car Parade Weekend, presented by Team Gillman, brings 250+ wildly creative vehicles to the streets of Downtown Houston, delighting nearly 400,000 spectators.

The celebration kicks off at 11 AM with the Lineup Party presented by 811, held near Eleanor Tinsley Park along Allen Parkway between Bagby and Taft. This pre-parade event offers a rare chance to see the art cars up close, meet the artists, and enjoy live music. Spectators can also enjoy food trucks, beverage and merchandise stations, and more.

A short stroll away at Sam Houston Park, families can explore the H-E-B Kid Zone, which opens at 11 AM and features interactive activities, entertainment, and fun for all ages.

At 2 PM, the parade officially rolls out, starting at Dallas and Bagby Streets (on Allen Parkway), looping around City Hall, and heading back along Allen Parkway before concluding at Waugh Drive.

For the ultimate parade experience, the VIPit Party & Benefit at Hermann Square offers front-row views, bites from top local chefs, cocktails, live entertainment, and reserved parking. Tickets start at $250.
