The Orange Show's 38th Annual Houston Art Car Parade

For its 38th year, the Houston Art Car Parade rolls through Downtown, with 250+ wild and creative vehicles delighting nearly 400,000 spectators. The parade kicks off on Allen Parkway at the I-45 overpass, loops around City Hall, and heads back out along Allen Parkway. The event is FREE TO ATTEND, with fans encouraged to arrive early to enjoy beverage and merchandise stations at the Lineup Party, plus food trucks, the HEB Kid Zone, entertainment, and more. For the best experience, the ultimate viewing party at Hermann Square offers front-row views, bites from top local chefs, cocktails, live entertainment, and reserved parking. Tickets start at $250.

The parade officially begins at 2 pm at the intersection of Dallas and Bagby Streets (on Allen Parkway). It heads into Downtown before circling City Hall and outbound onto Allen Parkway. It then heads out of Downtown until dispersing at Waugh Drive. As always, the parade is free to attend.

The parade route opens at 11:00 am for a perfect opportunity to see the entries up close and meet the artists!
