Tour de Houston will take place on Sunday, April 12, 2026, and feature a new route with three distance options ideal for families, casual riders and cyclists training for the upcoming MS 150.

This annual bike ride celebrates the beauty, history, diversity and vibrancy of Houston’s neighborhoods, this year including historic neighborhoods like Memorial Park, Tanglewood, Piney Point Village, Bunker Hill Village, and Briar Forest. Starting and finishing at Discovery Green and Avenida Plaza in front of the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Registration for the ride is $60 for adults and kids 13 and up, and $35 for kids 12 and under, and includes an official Tour de Houston t-shirt. To register and for more information on the 2026 Tour de Houston, visit tourdehouston.org.

Event proceeds support Houston Parks & Recreation’s Re-Plant Houston reforestation initiative, which has raised more than $1.3 million since the inaugural event was held in 2005, thanks to the support of Apache. Riders can further support Re-Plant Houston by purchasing the official 2026 Tour de Houston cycling jersey. The jersey features moisture-wicking fabric, a UPF 50+ rating, three rear fitted pockets and a heavy-duty zipper for easy pulls while in the saddle.

The route features three distances - a 10-mile Family Route perfectly suited for riders of all ages and ability levels, a 20-mile Intermediate Route that caters to experienced riders and fitness enthusiasts, and a 45-mile Training Ride which is ideal for riders preparing for the MS 150 later in April.

After they return to Downtown, riders are encouraged to stick around Discovery Green for a bigger and better post-ride celebration. After-ride festivities include food and drinks for adults and kids alike, music, and an expo with numerous local bike shops and bike clubs.
