The 2026 Viva Latin America concert features Trombones de Costa Rica!
The Quartet was founded in 1991 in San José, Costa Rica. Currently, the chamber group consists of tenor trombonists Luis Fred, Martín Bonilla, and Leonel Rodríguez, and bass trombonist César Fumero. Since its founding, the quartet has undertaken numerous tours in Central America, the Caribbean, North America, South America, and Europe, performing a repertoire that blends classical, jazz, and Latin American music. Come enjoy an exciting evening of music performed by these wonderful and entertaining musicians!
