Toyota Center is excited to host the Houston Hoops Showdown, a neutral-site college basketball event featuring 2025 national runner-up Houston and Florida State on December 6. It will be the sixth all-time matchup between the programs, and first in more than 50 years, with Houston holding a 3-2 series advantage. Under head coach Kelvin Sampson, the Cougars have become a consistent national title contender and defensive powerhouse. Former Seminole and two-time NBA champion Luke Loucks enters his first year as head coach for his alma mater. Don’t miss the Houston Hoops Showdown this December!
