October is German American Heritage Month and a time for Halloween, so we are celebrating with a Pups & Pints Oktoberfest. What better way to learn about the largest European immigrant group in the nineteenth century than with a bier in hand and your best friend wagging their tail next to you?
One of the afternoon’s highlights will be a costumed pet parade. Pet owners are encouraged to dress up, as well, and even decorated strollers are allowed. The number of entries is limited and only friendly, socialized, well-behaved pets will be allowed.
The Entry Fee for the parade is $10 per pet. Prizes will be awarded based on overall impression and creativity.
Guest Judges include the handsome Brian Teichman (fur daughter Lola was a pet costume contest winner in 2018) and the lovely Hershey Grace (who supports rescue and adoption
