METRORail Service Interruption
[12/10/2025]: METRORail Red, Green and Purple Line will experience service interruptions in Downtown from Thursday, December 11 through Sunday, December 14.
Shuttle service will operate every 10 minutes to cover these portions of METRORail lines. Please allow extra travel time for service. Plan your route ahead of time at RideMetro.org.

Hamilton, Pease & Jefferson Closures
[11/14/2025]: Three closures impacting Hamilton, Pease and Jefferson Streets are scheduled to be in place from Wednesday, November 19, 2025 through Friday, March 20, 2026.
These sections will be closed to install storm sewer infrastructure and undergo roadway construction.

Chartres Street Total Closure
[11/11/2025]: A total closure of Chartres Street from Commerce to Runnels will occur from Monday, November 17, 2025 at 9am through Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 6pm.
This section of Chartres Street will be completely closed to traffic to allow for storm sewer installation.

McGowen Street Entrance Ramp Closure
[7/16/2025]: A total closure of the I-69 North entrance ramp at McGowen Street will occur from Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 7am through Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 5pm.
The ramp will be closed completely to traffic for storm sewer installation work.

[3/14/2025]: From March 13, 2025 to Friday, December 19, 2025, portions of St. Emanuel Street and Capitol Street will be closed for demolition of multiple buildings.
