Lunar New Year at Market Square Park | FREE!
Saturday, February 14, 2026 | Noon to 6pm
Celebrate from noon to dusk at this free annual Lunar New Year Festival in the heart of Historic District!
Attendees can shop local vendors at a marketplace by Feel Good Group, get hands-on at workshops with Young Audiences of Houston, and take in captivating performances by Unity Lion Dance and Lee's Golden Dragon as they ring in the Year of the Horse.
Make sure to show up early to score one of 300 red envelopes up for grabs on a first-come, first-served basis. Take a look inside and if you're one of 20 lucky recipients to spot a gold coin, you can redeem it for elevated prizes like tickets to a Houston Rockets game and Downtown attractions, plus other goodies.

This all-day, all-ages Lunar New Year bash at POST features an Asian pop-up market in the North Docks, plus lion dances from Soaring Phoenix, cultural performances and traditional activities.
